ENCA is a highly efficient coil protection structure designed for small motors. It offers high insulation class and protects the coil against leakage current. ENCA can be used for both asynchronous and synchronous motors. It is primarily intended for stators with outer diameter below 90 mm; it can also be applied during production (before winding) for stators from 90 mm to 240 mm.
Main benefits of ENCA:
a. Effective protection against moisture and dust.
b. Improved mechanical damage resistance.
c. Reduced heat loss.
d. Precise guiding.

Beyond the ENCA benefits, ALKA further improves coil cooling. It can be used for both asynchronous and synchronous motors, primarily for motors with outer diameter above 106 mm; it can also be applied for stators from 106 mm to 300 mm during production (before winding).
Main benefits of ALKA:
a. Effective protection against moisture and dust.
b. Improved mechanical damage resistance.
c. Reduced heat loss, improved cooling.
d. Precise guiding.
e. e+a finishes the stator outer diameter, ready for direct customer assembly.

Standard stators are vacuum impregnated with insulating varnish. Benefits:
1. High insulation.
2. Long service life.
3. Cost-effective price.
For ENCA and standard stators, a small machining allowance is left on the stator OD; customers perform final grinding before fitting into the water jacket. We provide the relevant tolerance and assembly requirements.

To maximize motor performance, stators often require liquid cooling via a dedicated water jacket. We can design and manufacture water jackets, delivered with the stator assembled. To save cost, customers with in-house design and machining capability are encouraged to build their own jackets; e+a provides technical support such as heat dissipation requirements.
