RPS Synchronous Rotor Analyzer
The RPS is a test instrument developed by e+a based on long experience in installing and operating synchronous motors. It measures back-EMF, electrical phase angle, mechanical phase angle, speed and rotation direction. From the results, customers can judge whether the synchronous rotor temperature and performance are normal and whether the encoder is OK. Measuring and adjusting the phase angle in advance avoids repeated on-site adjustments caused by wrong phasing.
