e+a Stator Pressure Tester (VPA)
During motor commissioning and operation, improper power supplies, drives, filters, power cables or plugs can impose extra peak voltages on the stator winding. These peak voltages stress the motor insulation system and, in extreme cases, can damage the motor or the drive.
The VPA device developed by e+a detects and records such peak voltages and assesses the risk to motor performance, protecting the motor and the drive to the greatest extent.
